Nissan Micra (1993 – 2003, 2003)

Nissan then introduced the Micra K10 into motorsport five years later. This was a hit with Japanese drivers but didn’t prove so successful with Swedish rally driver, Per Eklund who finished the 1988 RAC Rally in a disappointing 21 st place and the 1989 Acropolis Rally in a slightly better 10 th position. The Micra rally car was later adapted and released in Japan as a road car, the March Superturbo.

From 1998 all Micras were manufactured with power steering as standard, making these little cars even easier and more pleasurable to drive.
The latest Micra is available in two new grades: the dynamic SPORT and sporty 160SR, with a 1.6L engine which can deliver up to 110 HP and over 150 Nm torque on the higher grades. Prices start from just £8,175, making the Micra an absolute snip for eager young drivers.
