Located in the tiny village of Beaulieu, Hampshire, the National Motor Museum houses over 250 vehicles, every one of which made a significant contribution to motoring history. Highlights of the collection include examples of the very earliest automobiles and the 1927 Sunbeam 1000hp, a land speed record winner in that year and the first car to reach speeds over 200mph.
See http://www.beaulieu.co.uk for more details. 7. The Heritage Motor Centre
As its name implies, this collection is a celebration of British motoring heritage, predominantly featuring cars built and designed over the past 60 or so years. Established in the 1970's by British Leyland, the Heritage Motor Centre now features a cornucopia of makes and models including Land Rover, Mini, MG and Aston Martin.

Since its inception in 1993, this annual hillclimbing event in the grounds of Goodwood House is virtually a living museum exhibit. Cars on display range from the ultra-modern F1 type to models from the very first days of motorsport, and famous drivers from many different eras take part. What's more, Goodwood is often attended by members of today's racing fraternity.
