Young drivers on the lookout for cheap car insurance have cause to celebrate after it was announced that motor insurance premiums have remained almost static over the last quarter.
The average price of fully comprehensive cover rose a miniscule 0.49% to £762.11, according to the AA British Insurance Premium Index, while third party, fire and theft cover fell by 0.17% to £955.29.
Mike Page from Hoot Car Insurance Services, the young driver car insurance experts, commented on the revelation, saying, "There is so much competition out there that it really isn't surprising that motor insurance prices have stayed fairly still."
