Drink-drive teen goes berserk in court

A girl aged 14, appearing in court for a second drink-driving offence, punched a solicitor in the face, lobbed a jug of water at magistrates and ran around kicking furniture and screaming abuse after being told she was going to be banged-up for four months.

Only minutes earlier, asboteen Leanne Black, from Berkshire, proudly told the court that she was learning to control her dangerously short temper and raging fits of anger.

As reported last week by Hoot Car Insurance Services, the young driver car insurance experts, the 14-year-old was arrested by police after downing three cans of lager and pinching her dad's Mondeo. She has a long history of booze-fuelled crimes and, after being found guilty of the recent drink-driving offence, was told to return to court at a later date for sentencing.

Arriving yesterday at Newbury Youth Court to hear her punishment, the real life Vicky Pollard wore a black tracksuit and was accompanied by her mum, Nora. As she entered the building, Leanne threw eggs at waiting paparazzi while her classy mum wiggled her ample backside at the cameras and giggled, "Go on. Film this."

Pleading leniency in the courtroom, Miss Black apologised for her crimes and said, "I know what I have done to my dad and stuff. I'm working with people. They are trying to help me. I am working with groups and stuff, trying to make my own decisions."

But when she heard that magistrates were ordering her to spend four months in youth custody, the troubled teen went berserk and began her manic rampage, chucking water around and attacking court officials.

She was bundled to the ground by police officers, handcuffed and dragged away screaming, "What the f**k are you doing here? For f**k's sake. Get the f**k off me!"

Returning to the court sometime later she was flanked by four burly security guards and apologised for running amok, saying, "I'm sorry for my behaviour earlier."

At the end of the session, Black was escorted to a waiting prison van and carted off to begin her time behind bars at a local young offenders' institute.

A spokesman from Hoot Car Insurance Services was reported as saying, "When Miss Black finally reaches the age of 17 and can drive legally, I'm sure her past driving convictions will affect her ability to get cheap young driver car insurance."
