A study carried out by Canadian firm InsuranceHotline.com showed that key divisions in driver behaviour correlate exactly with their astrological makeup.
Lee Romanov, president of the online car insurance firm, started the research as a bit of fun - but when a clear link between motor insurance records and the zodiac started to appear she was forced to take it more seriously.
The final study incorporated six years' worth of car insurance records for 100,000 Americans. Romanov, who went on to write a book entitled "Car Carma" on the subject, found star signs were a much better indicator of motor insurance risk than traditional choices like a person's age or address.
