NRA outrage at K-Fed in cheap car insurance firm's ad

Earlier this week, we brought you the shock news that Kevin Federline is set to cement his abysmal failure as a rap artist by starring in a commercial for American cheap car insurance firm Nationwide Mutual.

The ad, due to be screened on February 4th 2007 during the Super Bowl coverage, sees K-Fed demoted from promising rapper to burger flipper in a frankly overlong 30 seconds.

However, business watchdog the National Restaurant Association (the 'other NRA') has launched attacks on the commercial and the motor insurance firm behind it, saying K-Fed's cameo is both "demeaning and unpleasant" to the 13 million Americans they represent.

"It shouldn't be necessary for a [cheap car insurance] company to disrespect others to get its point across," said NRA spokesperson Annika Stensson, who would rather see Federline "holding an unemployment benefit cheque" than working in her industry.

Wouldn't we all, Annika.
