Danielle Lloyd, the Liverpool glamour model who was briefly crowned Miss Great Britain in 2006 (Lloyd was stripped of the title after it emerged she was dating judge Teddy Sheringham) has lost out again - this time on a six-figure modelling contract with motor insurance firm Bennetts.
The Celebrity Big Brother contestant - who along with Jade Goody and Jo from S Club 7 has been universally condemned as racist - is enough of a media liability that Bennetts want nothing to do with her.
According to their website: "Bennetts is strongly opposed to any form of racism and bullying and, in the light of the accusations which have been made against Miss Lloyd, has taken the decision to terminate its arrangements with her with immediate effect."
Lloyd, who would otherwise have fronted the motor insurance provider's "Bennetts Babes" calendar, might comfort herself with the thought that alleged racism shouldn't stand in the way of a cheap car insurance quote.
Mind you, even the cost of cheap car insurance might become a struggle if her fall from grace means the modeling work dries up altogether.
