End of cheap motor insurance quotes for 'jailed' Swiss driverA Swiss drink driver made it easy for the authorities by showing up at a local police station whilst three times over the limit. The man, who probably won't be seeing any cheap motor insurance quotes for a while, showed up with his pet dog in the car at the station in Spiez-Gesigen. When we say 'showed up', however, what we actually mean is 'crashed through the walls after skidding off the road.' The drink-addled Swiss had lost control at a tight corner, left the tarmac and mounted a bank before coming to rest bonnet-first in the gaol. According to a police spokesman: "He and the dog were unhurt, which was more than can be said for the car and the police station." "He can say goodbye to his licence for a long time," he added. "I hope he didn't inadvertently free any prisoners,' said Mike Page, spokesman for the cheap car insurance experts at Hoot. "It sounds like expensive motor insurance quotes will be the least of his problems," he added.
