The AA offer advice on how to lower your premiums

With an average rise of 2.4 per cent in car insurance premiums over the last quarter, the AA suggest ways of keeping your costs down.
Always check to see if your renewal quote is the cheapest on offer
Pay your insurance in a lump sum to avoid added interest.
Increase your excess
If you have a garage use it, you could get a discount off your premium.
Recently passed your test? Take part in the Pass Plus Scheme (see www.passplus.org.uk)
