Motor insurance firm Adrian Flux is offering Pass Plus drivers a whopping 30 percent discount on young driver car insurance
The firm, which specialises in car insurance for young drivers and those with 'hard to insure' cars such as hot hatches and performance models, says that in spite of its size the concession 'makes good business sense'.
"We . want to encourage youngsters to drive more carefully," said a spokesman for Adrian Flux. "Our discount isn't just generosity - it makes good business sense, since people taking Pass Plus are statistically less likely to make a claim."
The price-cuts could make a world of difference for young drivers who are strapped for cash. For example, a 19-year-old male from Cambridge with a 1.3 VW Golf would normally have to spend £950 on young driver car insurance. With Pass Plus and a policy from Adrian Flux, however, he could get away with a much more reasonable £665.
