Some young motorists out there may already know that taking a Pass Plus course could help you get cheaper car insurance for young drivers, but if you don't know much about the course, a reporter from the Shropshire Star recently undertook the training and has written a comprehensive report on its merits.
Abigail Bates took the Driving Standards Agency (DSA) course after several years of fully licensed driving, but found the course a bit of a wake-up call in road safety skills.
The Shropshire driving instructor who tutored Bates said, "The Pass Plus course is about giving new drivers more confidence and making them safer on the road during their first few months, but it's just as important for drivers to continue to assess and challenge themselves throughout their driving career; everyone can benefit from a bit of tuition from time to time to refresh their skills.
"Being a safe driver is something you need to strive to do every time you get into the car - it might save your own or someone else's life."
