Car insurance quote even cheaper for 2007

Motorists may well be able to get an even cheaper car insurance quote after research shows that premiums have declined.

The study, carried out by the online motor insurance provider http://www.insurancewide.com, suggests that there has been a 9.5% decline in the cost of car insurance for the second quarter of 2007.

Chief executive of insurancewide.com, James Harrison, said: "Once again, the falling premiums shown by our research reflect the competitive pressure insurers are under to retain and attract ever-savvier customers."

A spokesperson for Hoot Car Insurance Services, the experts in cheap car insurance, commented: "It's always good news to hear that we might be paying lower premiums but if you really want to make a saving, the best advice we can offer is to shop around for the cheapest car insurance quote."
