Does Rooney have cheap car insurance and breakdown cover?
We hope Wayne Rooney got breakdown cover with his cheap car insurance after he broke down recently on the M62 having filled his wife's £90,000 car with the wrong fuel.
Waiting for recovery on the hard shoulder, the Man Utd star was said by passers by to look a little "sheepish" having driven the Range Rover Sport V8 to visit family in Liverpool.
Earlier, at a filling station, Rooney had mistakenly fuelled the turbo-diesel vehicle with unleaded petrol which ultimately caused the breakdown.
It is estimated that the cost of repairing damage to the customised car could be as much as £1,000.
Rooney's collection of prestige marques includes a Lamborghini Gallardo, Bentley Continental GT, BMW M6 and Aston Martin Vanquish.
A Hoot spokesperson commented, "It doesn't matter what car you drive, this sort of motoring mix-up can happen to anyone. Breakdown cover is always a good idea, even if you're Wayne Rooney."
