Drivers are not so happy with garage services, a recent study by the Good Garage Scheme has found.
Although many drivers are happy with getting cheap car insurance, many of them are finding that their local garages aren't turning out to be quite so affordable.
The findings from the Good Garage Scheme found that 56% of motorists have endured negative experiences, with many saying that they want to be better informed about the faults of their vehicle.
A total of 39% of people said that they would return to a garage if the staff were friendly and provided a good service for them - a relationship that many drivers already have with their online car insurance provider.
Rachel Roberts, marketing manager of the Good Garage Scheme, said: "This survey just goes to show that there's just no substitute for excellent service and good manners."
Cheap car insurance providers, Hoot Car Insurance Services said: "Motorists want to make sure that they're not getting ripped off. If they strike a good relationship with a garage, they'll more than likely use their services again in the future."
