Vauxhall insurance firm refuses smashed stall liabilityA Dorset market trader whose stall was smashed into by an out-of-control Corsa has been told that the driver's Vauxhall insurance will not be making a payout to cover his losses. The driver's car insurance company argues that the accident was the result of a heart-attack being suffered by the 70-year-old, and that they have no liability. The stall owner said, "I think it's absolutely disgusting they are not entertaining claims. They told me because it was not a pre-existing complaint they are not going to pay. "I thought there was no way they could deny liability, then this happens." Rival firms have suggested that the third-party cover offered as part of the driver's Vauxhall insurance should be enough to ensure a payment. However, the car insurance company that is denying liability refuses to discuss individual cases. Dorset police are still investigating the incident, and have invited witnesses to call them on 01202 222222.
