Jan 18th bad day for cheap car insurance customers

January 18th was apparently the most likely day for a road accident, according the cheap car insurance provider Admiral.

Research by the motor insurance experts also found that Fridays are the worst day of the week for accidents.

Fortunately, for fans of the Christmas period, December 25th and 26th are considered to be the safest days to be in your car, especially because there's so little traffic on the roads.

Speaking on behalf of Hoot Car Insurance Services, the experts in cheap car insurance, a spokesperson said: "It's quite peculiar to be able to pin point a specific day of the year that's worse for crashes. All we can advise is that motorists are fully prepared for such risks and have the best UK car insurance."
