Online car insurance way forward says Norwich Union

Online car insurance is the cheapest option for UK motorists, says Norwich Union.

The cheap car insurance provider believes that drivers could find themselves a better deal on the internet compared to more traditional methods of getting a quote.

A spokesperson for Norwich Union said: "I don't think many people are aware that putting a named driver on your licence will give you a discount."

There are a number of ways that motorists can reduce the cost of their premiums but Norwich Union feels that with online car insurance discounts sometimes offering 10% off the quote price, UK drivers could easily bag a cheaper deal.
