Prize could spark a rise in car insurance quotes

Russian couples might have to start searching around for a car insurance quote after a new government scheme plans to reward nationals with a brand new car for increasing the country's birth rate.

A number of Russian couples could be in line for winning some fantastic prizes after September 12th was officially named Family Contact Day in a bid to increase struggling birth rates.

The national day has been launched nine months before Russian's Constitution Day, so any couple who gives birth on the 12th of June could receive a great prize for their conception.

Some of the prizes include a television and even an all-terrain vehicle - although new parents might have to do a bit of online searching to find the best car insurance quote.

A spokesperson for Hoot Car Insurance Services, the experts in young driver car insurance said, "It's very unusual to reward parents with prizes for conceiving a child. Any parent who is lucky enough to win the car will have to make sure that they find the best online car insurance quote."
