A group of motorists, including some who probably had new driver car insurance, recently paid their respects to a young car enthusiast from Earley.
The man lost his life when a Peugeot 106, a Vauxhall Nova and a Vauxhall Astra all collided on Easter Sunday.
A statement made by his family read, "[Our son] is a very special person who has brought such joy to so many people. He is dearly loved by all his family who are all devastated by his loss.
"[He] always had a passion for cars and they were his love. He is a very fortunate young man to have secured his dream job as a motor mechanic, which he loved, and he was just about to finish his final year."
More than 100 people turned up at a local skate park to celebrate the 19-year-old's life.
Members of a local cruisers car club turned up in their modified cars to remember the fond times they'd shared with the young man, prior to the commencement of a one minute's silence. It is hoped all drivers present had full young driver's car insurance in place.
A close friend said, "Everything was around cars. If there was something wrong with your car, nine times out of 10 [he] knew what it was and would fix it."
This is not the first time that young people with new driver car insurance have had to gather in remembrance of a fellow inexperienced motorist. The Earley driver's family said, "If we can do one thing as family and friends following this awful tragedy, then we must try and ensure that no other young life is lost."
