Kids travel to Denmark by pedal car

Young car insurance customers have been given a run for their money after two German schoolboys travelled across the country using their pedal cars before jumping onboard a train.

The two boys aged 12 and nine, went on holiday in Denmark last year and decided they had such a great time on vacation that they would make a return visit - only this time they would go it alone.

Travelling by pedal car, the youngsters managed to make their way to a train station in Romscoe and caught a train to Denmark.

But just as easy as it is to switch motor insurance provider, the pair got about 200 miles in to their journey and decided that they would turn around and head back home.

A spokesperson for Hoot Car Insurance Services, the cheap car insurance provider, said: It's amazing that these two boys were able to get so far on their own. If they're this good at driving already, they'll definitely be able to find a very affordable young driver car insurance policy in the future."
