Students who may soon be in the market for young persons car insurance have been given the opportunity to learn the basics of driving on a course set up by SEAT.
The young driver programme was launched at Birmingham's NEC arena two years ago. Since that time the expert SEAT instructors have helped thousands of youngsters to get to grips with motoring.
Not long ago the SEAT experts started to offer novice motorists the opportunity to drive around in environmentally friendly Ibiza automobiles. These vehicles make use of the latest fuel saving technology, including a stop-start motor and brake energy recovery.
The Head of Marketing for the UK division of the major motor manufacturers said, "Responsible parents are interested in the safety of their youngsters on the road and young people in particular are very aware of environmental concerns.
"The Ibiza Ecomotive is a great opportunity for SEAT Young Driver to demonstrate the cars of the future to tomorrow's motorists."
The Spanish company reported that people who have learnt how to drive from a young age stand to reduce their risk of having accidents, which very often lead to cheap car insurance claims.
They also pointed out that UK youngsters are currently being offered a 10% discount on 30 minute and 60 minute lessons. It is thought that people who have been on the SEAT course may soon be able to obtain cheaper young persons car insurance.
