Motorists may be at a reduced risk of losing their cheap car insurance for young drivers no claims bonus if they follow guidance on the updated Tyresafe website.
The tyre safety organisation has added a variety of features to their new website, which highlight the ways in which drivers can minimise the risk of accidents and student car insurance claims.
The information has been collated in readiness for the tyre safety month in October. The campaign is designed to highlight the importance of maintaining optimum tyre tread depth levels.
The Chairman of Tyresafe said, "The range of services and information we provide on-line has increased significantly over the last few years and although the previous website served us well, we felt a new look would help visitors find exactly what they were looking for, quickly and easily.
"It's also possible for visitors to sign up to our newsletters, see our Twitter feeds and link to our Facebook page, giving them a number of ways to engage with us and learn all about tyre safety."
Site visitors will have access to an extensive photo library and news section, with regular updates about the state of the UK's roads.
In related news, the Institute of Advanced Motorists has said that drivers should kit their vehicles out with winter tyres in preparation for the harsh months ahead.
Motorists may also want to obtain cheap insurance for young drivers which includes cover for the reparation and replacement of tyres which have deteriorated.
