Thieves could affect Oxford young driver car insurance premiums

Police have warned motorists in Oxford about the risks of having to claim on their young driver car insurance after a number of vehicles in the area were broken into.

According to official reports, a whopping ten vehicles were targeted by thieves in just one day, leaving some motor insurance customers with no alternative but to make a claim on their cheap car insurance to replace laptops, sat nav systems, mobile phone and tools.

Warning people about the risk of needing to make a claim on their motor insurance policy, a spokesperson for Thames Police said: "Don't leave anything valuable on display and if you have a sat nav, remove the cradle because that will be enough reason for a thief to try their luck and smash your window, causing hundreds of pounds of damage."

Motorists who ignore the warning could one day find themselves having to make a claim on their young driver car insurance.
