Youngsters to race for green glory at Goodwood
School children and many other youngsters across the UK are due to battle for pole position in a major electric car racing event next month, prompting many to think about the importance of young driver car insurance.
The environment-conscious initiative is the brainchild of Greenpower, a company that has challenged young people across the country to design, build and race electric cars.
Greenpower has been formed for ten years and the latest race finals are due to be held next month on Sunday October 19 at Goodwood, the West Sussex estate that is now home to a wide variety of motor sport splendour throughout the year.
The eco-friendly company, which works with student racing motorists and budding engineers aged nine to 21 years old, has generated huge enthusiasm for engineering and track racing with hundreds of teams competing to be at the finals.
Greenpower's aim is to encourage electric car racing for apprentices, youth groups, colleges and schools, and to promote engineering and technology as exciting careers. As for young driver car insurance, organisers make sure full third party liability cover is always in place for their events.
