Young driver car insurance certainly doesn't come cheap when you're British tennis star Andy Murray.
Having recently bought himself the early Christmas present of a Ferrari F430 at a reduced price of £100,000, the ATP world number four can now expect a pretty hefty bill for his young driver car insurance.
Motor insurance experts say that although Murray saved around £50,000 by buying the vehicle secondhand, his purchase can hardly be considered economical considering the fact that his annual young driver car insurance premium will cost at least as much as the price of the vehicle.
The reason for this vast expense? As a younger male driver who has only recently passed his test, Murray falls into the highest risk category. And how much driving pleasure will Murray get? Well, with his busy schedule not much at all unless he starts losing a lot of first round matches.
