Young driver insurance stays cheap in Yorkshire
Young driver insurance customers in West Yorkshire have managed to keep hold of their cheap policies after it was announced that speeding fines have fallen.
Since the West Yorkshire Casualty Reduction Partnership was launched in 2002, the amount of motorists caught speeding by cameras has dropped by a huge figure.
In the last year, money raised by speed cameras fell by a whopping £340,000 - something that will be great news for those with UK motor insurance.
A spokesperson for Hoot Car Insurance Services, the experts in cheap car insurance premiums, said: It's great to see that UK drivers are watching their speed and saving pounds at the same time. Any motorist caught by a speeding camera could face having three points added to their licence and this could increase the cost of their young driver insurance policy."
