Car crashes into gent's toilets at Wrexham pub

Young driver insurance may be more expensive for one motorist following a collision with a pub toilet near Wrexham.

The young motorist and his four young passengers, all believed to be in their early twenties, were travelling on the A534 when then car veered off the road and into The Gredington Arms at Llan y Pwll.

The pub landlord said that it's not the first time a car has crashed into their pub and they have previously petitioned for a reduction in the speed limit along the adjacent road.

Describing the crash scene, the landlord said, "It's like something out of a film set, with part of the car sticking out and the front sticking through the wall."

Despite damage to the gent's toilet the pub has remained open after a structural engineer said there was no danger.

None of the passengers in the car were seriously injured in the car crash, however, it is likely that the driver will suffer a sharp increase in his young driver insurance.
