Two Peugeot models made appearances in this action packed movie that was released in the US during October 2002. This film stars Jason Stretham as Frank Martin, an ex-special forces soldier who hires out his services as a mercenary "transporter", who moves goods from one place to another, no questions asked, and lives by a strict set of rules: never change the deal, no names and never open the package.

Another film featuring cars made by the notorious French manufacturer to hit the big screen in 2002 was comedy Ali G Indahouse. In this motion picture that centres on fictional gang member Alistair Leslie Graham, who lives with his dear old nan in a semi-detached in Cherry Blossom close, a catalogue of cameos are made by Peugeots.
Ali G himself drives a modified Renault 5 but as well as the prominent 306 V6 Cabriolet, a blaze yellow 106 and a green 309 turbo also make appearances alongside other pimped up rides belonging to members of the "West Staines Massiv".
Columbo
Do you remember the cigar puffing American homicide detective who wore a scruffy old rain mack? Yes that's right Columbo. Well Lt. Columbo, as portrayed by Peter Falk, prefered to drive his trademark, dirty 1959 Peugeot 403 Convertible rather than an official LAPD car while on duty, a car which Falk picked out personally from the studio's inventory. This car may be unique in that it ferries about the legend that is Columbo but it is also special in its own right as only around 500 two-door convertibles of this kind were built, just two of which reside in the US.
Absolutely Fabulous
Well sweetie darling Hoot wouldn't describe the Peugeot 205 as anything less than abfab after it brought Peugeot back from the ashes back in the 80s but Patsy and Eddie's choice of holiday rental in BBC sitcom Absolutely Fabulous confirms all.
