It can be hard having a famous brother or sister: having to deal with feelings of inadequacy or jealousy; fending-off unwanted media attention that you yourself did nothing to deserve; the constant pressure to appear on the reality TV shows - but there are also plenty of perks.
Take 16-year-old Miles Carrio for example, brother to champion motor sport racer Adrian "Ace" Carrio. Ace, in case you haven't heard of him, hails from Monument in Colorado, and at 17 has just become the youngest driver ever to win the Star Mazda Series on the US motor racing circuit.
Ace won $100,000 when he scooped the coveted trophy and a new top-of-the-line Mazda RX-8, worth a further $35,000. But as Ace already owns a car, he figured he'd give the Mazda to little brother Miles.
"I don't really need another car and my brother doesn't have one," he said. "I think it shows good character to do that."
We wonder how much of the $100,000 Ace is prepared to lend his brother to pay for young driver car insurance - or indeed, if $100,000 would be enough.
Mike Page, spokesman for the young driver car insurance experts at Hoot, commented: "Good character? Does Ace not understand the concept of hand-me-downs?
"The motor insurance quotes would be astronomical for either of them, of course," he added.
